Sysmä Suopelto is full or surprises

In Suopelto you will find two pearls almost next to each other – the summer restaurant Pinxinmäki, known for its art exhibitions, and the luxury hotel and beach restaurant Ilola Inn. Both are conveniently located within walking distance of New Port Sysmä if you happen to arrive by boat. A stone’s throw from Pinxinmäki and Ilola is also the magnificent rugged island of Päijätsalo, which is part of Päijänne National Park.

Ilola Inn

A wonderful holiday destination has just been opened on the shore of Lake Päijänne. The summer restaurant offers lunch and barbecue evenings. Ilola has complete services for the boater and you can also rent SUP boards and fatbikes. Ilola’s completely renovated 100-year-old log house, a former tavern, has been given new life as a luxury hotel. In addition to the traditional beach sauna, there is also a new sauna experience with Päijänne views and the outdoor Infinity Pool, open all year round.
