Music experiences at Sibelius Hall
Located by Lake Vesijärvi in Lahti harbour, Sibelius Hall is one of Finland’s best-known concert and event venues and the home of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra. The wooden concert hall is internationally recognised for its outstanding acoustics and hosts concerts, festivals and live events throughout the year.
The internationally acclaimed Lahti Symphony Orchestra performs regular symphony concerts at Sibelius Hall from autumn to spring and is especially known for its strong connection to the music of Jean Sibelius and the annual Sibelius Festival.
For visitors looking for a more intimate live music atmosphere, Finlandia Club brings contemporary Finnish artists and club-style concerts to the Sibelius Hall complex. The venue hosts gigs across multiple genres and offers a relaxed setting for live music in the harbour area.

Lahti’s live music scene ranges from intimate club gigs to long-standing rock venues and urban music events. The city’s compact centre makes it easy to explore several venues during the same evening, with live music available throughout the year.
For alternative and indie live music, Möysän Musaklubi – Mössö is one of Lahti’s best-known venues, recognised for its relaxed atmosphere and strong domestic live programme. The club hosts concerts across pop, rock, indie and alternative music.
Among the city’s legendary music venues are Ravintola Torvi and Tirra, located side by side in central Lahti. Torvi has been part of Finland’s rock club culture since 1966 and is especially known for rock, punk and metal gigs, while Tirra complements the atmosphere with smaller live events and club nights.
Jazz lovers can explore concerts organised by Lahti Jazz Club, which hosts live jazz performances at Teerenpeli on the second Tuesday of every month. The club brings Finnish jazz musicians and visiting performers to the heart of Lahti’s nightlife scene, combining concerts with relaxed jam sessions and an intimate club atmosphere.
