The completely renovated more than one hundred years old inn has now been opened in Sysmä, Lahti Region. Eight high standard hotel rooms, all with Lake Päijänne views. The café-restaurant on the shores of Lake Päijänne is open every day during summer and at other times on order. In addition to the traditional beach sauna, Ilola offers a new sauna experience and a year-round Infinity Pool.

Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery from Lahti has been chosen for the best whisky distillery in the world. The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) invited Teerenpeli to the final in a competition looking for the best whisky producer in the world.
Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva
Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva is situated in the city center in the historical old brewery building Malski. Besides the new museum in Malski you can already now find the pop-up museum shop of Malva and several restaurants, such as Kahiwa Coffee Roasters, Malskin Bistro and Ant Brew. Kahiwa and Ant Brew also welcome groups for guided tours and tastings.
