Ainoa Winery’s innovative wild berry wines have won several international awards, such as Concours International de Lyon 2021 and Vinalies Or de Paris 2020.
Ant Brew
Ant Brew is a small beer collective in located Malski. They are known for their Wasted Potential series created during Lahti European Green Capital 2021 year. In the series Ant Brew has utilised ingredients such as wild herbs, fruit waste and goose droppings.

Whiskey & cheese tasting is a taste journey to Teerenpeli Distillery’s single malt whiskeys combined with various cheeses. Teerenpeli’s whiskey ambassador will lead you to the world of whiskeys. The cheeses in the tasting are cheeses from small domestic dairies.
You can also choose chocolates from local producers and Taivaanranta’s own chef as flavor pairings.

Ant Brew micro brewery operates in Malski which is also the home for Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva. Ant Brew has created a name beer for Malva. Malva Sour gets its flavour from berry aronia, raspberry and black currant provided by local berry farms. Visit Lahti warmly recommends! Malva beer is available at the Ant Brew pub in Malski.

When looking North from Helsinki, Lahti is the first real lakeside city and Lake Vesijärvi the most southern body of water in Lakeland Finland. The heart of Lakeland opens up from Vesijärvi through the Vääksy canal: Lake Päijänne, which provides drinking water for one million Finns. In addition to the big lakes, Lahti Region is the home of Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark, which tells the story of the best-known geological entity of Finland. The First and Second Salpausselkä are unique ice-marginal formations laid down by ancient meltwater streams at the end of the Ice Age.
The most spectacular sights of the geopark area are for example its eskers such as picturesque Kelvenne Island and Pulkkilanharju Esker.
