Guided Fatbike Safari in Salpausselkä takes you to the heart of a typical Finnish forest and extensive terminal moraine ridge area formed during the ice age. Salpausselkä functions as the southern boundary of the lakes of the Finnish lake district. Fatbiking is fun and the wide tyres make it enjoyable to ride along forest routes – all year round. During the safari you get to enjoy Finnish forest nature, pure and fresh air and, of course, the geological history of the ridge area. You also get to see famous Lahti Ski Jumping Centre, located right next to our starting point. Safari includes drink (water/organic berry juice/coffee/tea) and home baked cinnamon rolls. No previous experience required, but the route includes some uphills, so good basic condition will help you enjoy the safari. The safari is not suitable for children under 15 years of age. Approximate length of the route 10–15 km (adjusted to group).
