Bistro Tango & Matto, Heinola

Bistro Tango & Matto is a French-Scandinavian restaurant that opened its doors in Heinola in the summer of 2023. Located on Piestanyn Rantatie in Heinola, along the picturesque Kymijoki River and just below the railway bridge, the restaurant offers an idyllic setting for a truly memorable dining experience.
The interior of the French-style restaurant has 30 seats. In the summer, a terrace for around 30 guests is built by the Kymijoki River, which also accommodates passersby in need of refreshments.
In the restaurant, collaboration between the kitchen and the dining area is seamless. The goal is to keep the service as personal as possible, which is reflected in the fact that the chefs bring the food to the table and share details about the dishes with the guests.
