Lake sauna in Vierumäki, Heinola

Located right by the emerald-green waters of Lake Valkjärvi, the Kaski and Pihka lakeside saunas offer a peaceful retreat in Vierumäki. These reservation-only saunas can be rented for private use by individuals or groups. The same building also houses the private restaurant Palmu. During holiday weeks throughout the year, open sauna sessions are also available—tickets for these can be purchased at the Fennada reception.

The Pihka sauna comfortably seats about 15 people on the benches and has a lounge area for around 30 people.
The Kaski sauna accommodates about 10 people in the sauna and 20 in the lounge.

In summer, Lake Valkjärvi invites you to swim, paddleboard, and canoe. There’s also a diving tower with platforms reaching up to ten meters.
In winter, you can take a refreshing dip in the ice hole right in front of the sauna. The lake is open year-round, offering a unique experience for sauna lovers in every season.
