Alvar Aalto’s the Church of the Cross with local guide, Lahti

On the spot of the Church of the Cross rore before an old wooden church. The old church was demolished in 1977 and the foundation stone of the Church of the Cross was mason on 16th of May 1977.

The church is held as clean-lined style of Alvar Aalto’s design, the white walls reflects the light and clear lines. The windows situated at the top of the ceiling bring nature inside.
