During the LAHTI2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships week, Lahti will also be setting the stage for design and creative expertise. Lahti Design Week (LDW), held for the first time ever from 27 February to 5 March 2017, will showcase Lahti-based design expertise on a wide scale. During the seven days there will be plenty to see, do and experience for championship week tourists, residents of Lahti and design professionals alike. Shops, pop-ups and exhibitions will be presenting design and industrial arts products, and the Open Studios event at the designers’ studios invites visitors to meet the designers and see the way they work.
